Metro finished the basement in our new house. We were extremely pleased with the whole experience, including the final product. The design staff assisted us in choosing paint colors and other design decisions- We love the dark trim that was suggested!! Management thoroughly communicated each step of the process including keeping us up to date on where we fell within our budget. There were no surprises at the end! We are looking forward to using Metro on our future projects!

We hired Metro for a gut renovation on our 1925 house in DC and were thrilled with the results. They did an amazing job of planning and executing our vision and we have recommended them to several of our friends doing renovations. We were particularly impressed with how quickly they were able to complete the project once the work started. The on-site team was excellent at communicating issues when the arose and very responsive and flexible to our requests. While we hope we don’t have to take on the project of this scope again, we will definitely use Metro again if we do!

I have owned 4 houses and have engaged contractors for remodeling in each of them. I have never come across a better one, nor had a better experience than I had with Metro, led by George Kall. I had been thinking about getting some work done, and when an acquaintance talked about how happy he was with a major remodelling job by Metro, I contacted them. A detailed, clearly presented contract was drawn up at the start, and it was modified as appropriate as the job went forward. Communication was always clear and prompt. George is pleasant, professional, knowledgable, and straightforward – no BS. The workmanship and final products are all outstanding. I was told the job would take 4 weeks and the job took 4 weeks – that is a first. I plan to call Metro in the fall for new floors. I have also been handing out his business cards to friends, because I know that it doesn’t get any better than this! Thanks to Metro for a job extremely well done.

Metro completed a major renovation of our basement over the winter and did a great job. From the design phase through final completion, George and his team communicated clearly with us the entire way so there were no surprises on timing, budget or what the finished space would look like. They even finished the renovations ahead of schedule! We would recommend them to anyone and will certainly call them again if we ever decide to take on another project like this in the future.

I think we were like most homeowners when looking to invest in an addition to their home, where you have some ideas of what you want, but don’t quite have the “design eye” that will pull it all together. Fortunately, MBRG has designers on staff that helped provide some very impressive examples of what could be possible with our space and budget, and were able to showcase that in a design video that really blew us away. We are getting great use out of our grill station and fire pit (with TV), and have had numerous compliments from guests. I would strongly recommend engaging with George and the Metro team for any indoor/outdoor project needs, be it for decks, patios, basements, etc. They continue to deliver outstanding work in our neighborhood, and around the Metro area.

Metro remodeled our kitchen, added a four season room and built our deck with a place for the hot tub. They were EXTREMELY efficient and ensured there was minimal impact on our daily living. The team communicated with us throughout the process which other contractors had not done. Years later, I can reach out and ask questions and receive the advice I need within a day or two. Metro is THE BEST you will find. The quality, management team and the pricing for our project was fantastic. They are the FIRST AND ONLY call we will make when our next project comes along. You will not be disappointed with George and his team.

George and his team recently remodeled our basement and added a wet bar and we are so happy with how everything turned out. George was friendly, very easy to work, with and was always in communication with us. He set realistic expectations and was very thorough in the details of the process. He was always thinking a few steps ahead and had everything planned out and this made for a very smooth construction process.
