We hired Metro for a gut renovation on our 1925 house in DC and were thrilled with the results. They did an amazing job of planning and executing our vision and we have recommended them to several of our friends doing renovations. I think we were like most homeowners when looking to invest in an addition to their home, where you have some ideas of what you want, but don’t quite have the “design eye” that will pull it all together. Fortunately, MBRG has designers on staff that helped provide some very impressive examples of what could be possible with our space and budget, and were able to showcase that in a design video that really blew us away. We are getting great use out of our grill station and fire pit (with TV), and have had numerous compliments from guests. This is an absolutely amazing contractor. We were promised that they would be able to totally redo our kitchen in just 4-weeks, in time for us to host Thanksgiving dinner, and they delivered on that promise!!! From the first contact we had with Matt, our minds were at ease. We understood everything up front; there were no hidden costs. We got a schedule with a timeline for each part of the work and off we went. The communication with our lead carpenter, Chad, and each trade made all the difference. Everyone made sure to get our input and confirmation on things like tile layout, lighting preferences, electrical box placement, just everything. I’m a stickler on things being even and level, as in I’m constantly adjusting picture frames on walls wherever I go–I have to say, everything is darn near perfect in these bathrooms. We hired MBRG to build out a full basement bathroom in our 1 year old home. George provided a thorough estimate which he delivered to us in the timeframe promised. The estimate was precise and accurate. George provided recommendations for where to select our materials and was extremely helpful throughout the selection process. During construction, George provided regular updates via phone and email, and was regularly on-site to check progress. His team was polite and very respectful of our home. The work was completed in a timely fashion, the work area was cleaned up very well each day, and the bathroom looks great. We are so pleased with the job that Metro completed for us.”

I have owned 4 houses and have engaged contractors for remodeling in each of them. I have never come across a better one, nor had a better experience than I had with Metro, led by George Kall. I had been thinking about getting some work done, and when an acquaintance talked about how happy he was with a major remodelling job by Metro, I contacted them. A detailed, clearly presented contract was drawn up at the start, and it was modified as appropriate as the job went forward. Communication was always clear and prompt. George is pleasant, professional, knowledgable, and straightforward – no BS. The workmanship and final products are all outstanding. I was told the job would take 4 weeks and the job took 4 weeks – that is a first. I plan to call Metro in the fall for new floors.
