I have owned 4 houses and have engaged contractors for remodeling in each of them. I have never come across a better one, nor had a better experience than I had with Metro, led by George Kall. I had been thinking about getting some work done, and when an acquaintance talked about how happy he was with a major remodelling job by Metro, I contacted them. A detailed, clearly presented contract was drawn up at the start, and it was modified as appropriate as the job went forward. Communication was always clear and prompt. George is pleasant, professional, knowledgable, and straightforward – no BS. The workmanship and final products are all outstanding. I was told the job would take 4 weeks and the job took 4 weeks – that is a first. I plan to call Metro in the fall for new floors. I have also been handing out his business cards to friends, because I know that it doesn’t get any better than this! Thanks to Metro for a job extremely well done.

The process of finishing our 1,750 sq ft unfinished basement was a somewhat daunting one. We looked at several contractors ranging in experience, and changed our design many times along the way. I thank my lucky stars we went with George and his team, who made the entire experience so smooth and easy. They managed the project like pros, were as discrete as possible, pulled us in when necessary, and were flexible with changes. From start to finish it took only six weeks to finish and we could not be happier with the finished product! I would highly recommend Metro to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, professional, high quality contractor.

Metro completed a major renovation of our basement over the winter and did a great job. From the design phase through final completion, George and his team communicated clearly with us the entire way so there were no surprises on timing, budget or what the finished space would look like. They even finished the renovations ahead of schedule! We would recommend them to anyone and will certainly call them again if we ever decide to take on another project like this in the future.

We hired Metro for a gut renovation on our 1925 house in DC and were thrilled with the results. They did an amazing job of planning and executing our vision and we have recommended them to several of our friends doing renovations. We were particularly impressed with how quickly they were able to complete the project once the work started. The on-site team was excellent at communicating issues when the arose and very responsive and flexible to our requests. While we hope we don’t have to take on the project of this scope again, we will definitely use Metro again if we do!

George and his team recently remodeled our basement and added a wet bar and we are so happy with how everything turned out. George was friendly, very easy to work, with and was always in communication with us. He set realistic expectations and was very thorough in the details of the process. He was always thinking a few steps ahead and had everything planned out and this made for a very smooth construction process. The crew was timely and very professional and they were a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with the final product and have enjoyed it daily!

Our first remodel project with MBRG was a major kitchen renovation.
