Reimagined Kitchen in Willowsford

This repeat client in the Willowsford community of Ashburn came to us again—this time to reimagine their existing kitchen, which felt too small and lacked functionality for their busy lifestyle. As parents who both work from home and love to entertain with their teen and pre-teen, they needed a kitchen that offered better flow, more prep space, and room to gather.

We reconfigured the layout to include two spacious islands, ideal for hosting and multitasking. One island now features a second Kohler cast iron sink, strategically relocated from the underused bar area to create a more functional and cohesive space. By removing the bar sink and repurposing what had been dead space, we were able to add a larger second island for both seating and storage.

The new kitchen includes custom two-toned Prevo cabinetry, elevated finishes, and a dramatic white quartz countertop and full-height quartz backsplash for a clean, timeless look. Brass faucets and a pot filler add warmth and elegance, while top-of-the-line appliances, including a 48” professional range, support the homeowners’ passion for cooking.

We also updated the entire first floor with new hardwood flooring, tying the home together in both style and function. This kitchen now truly fits the scale of the home and the family’s lifestyle—with ample room for everyday living and large gatherings.
