I have owned 4 houses and have engaged contractors for remodeling in each of them. I have never come across a better one, nor had a better experience than I had with Metro, led by George Kall. I had been thinking about getting some work done, and when an acquaintance talked about how happy he was with a major remodelling job by Metro, I contacted them. A detailed, clearly presented contract was drawn up at the start, and it was modified as appropriate as the job went forward. Communication was always clear and prompt. George is pleasant, professional, knowledgable, and straightforward – no BS. The workmanship and final products are all outstanding. I was told the job would take 4 weeks and the job took 4 weeks – that is a first. I plan to call Metro in the fall for new floors. I have also been handing out his business cards to friends, because I know that it doesn’t get any better than this! Thanks to Metro for a job extremely well done.”

We hired Metro for a gut renovation on our 1925 house in DC and were thrilled with the results. They did an amazing job of planning and executing our vision and we have recommended them to several of our friends doing renovations. From the first contact we had with Matt, our minds were at ease. We understood everything up front; there were no hidden costs. We got a schedule with a timeline for each part of the work and off we went. The communication with our lead carpenter, Chad, and each trade made all the difference. I’m a stickler on things being even and level, as in I’m constantly adjusting picture frames on walls wherever I go–I have to say, everything is darn near perfect in these bathrooms.
